The Department of Computer Science offers a comprehensive program of study in both the theory of computer science and its applications; leading to an internationally accredited (ABET) BS degree in Computer Science (CS) and a practical, hands-on oriented BS degree in Computer Information Technology (CIT). These degrees prepare students for graduate studies and a variety of career opportunities. Qualified students engage in research using facilities outfitted with state-of-the-art computing technologies at William Paterson University.
