Student Conferences
Students presenting at local, national, and international conferences demonstrate the high standard of scholarship and achievement they attain at William Paterson University.
Student presentations at national and other conferences are on an individual basis, products of long-term interaction between faculty and students in research projects. Support for these activities occurs at all institutional levels. In some classes such as CS 3410, CS 3500, CS 4400, CS 4610, and CS 4800, students have the opportunity to engage in course-based research projects whose results are presented at conferences. Please find out the research opportunities in our department. You may want to join one of the research groups.
Past conference participation included the Student Mathematics Conference at Moravian College and the Saint Joseph's University Sigma-Xi Student Research Symposium. We normally go as a group (chartered bus), some to participate, some to support, and some for just the enrichment and comradeship.
