Department of Computer Science
Seminars
Many seminars are offered during the academic year to enrich the intellectual pursuit of our students. National and international reputable scientists, educators, or industry professionals are invited to speak in the Computer Science Colloquia, Special Seminars, or in the Lecture Series sponsored by the Computer Science Society, Student Chapter of ACM, and the UPE Honor Society.
Students have a chance to do presentations in the Computer Science Student Seminar Series which further enhance their oral and communication skills. These student seminars are the results of faculty/student research, independent study, or internship experience.
